Scientific Breakfast – „A Detective in Poland”

On May 18, 2016, at the Kozminski University in Warsaw, as a part of celebration of the 15th anniversary of the College of Law, a scientific breakfast entitled "A Detective in Poland" organized by the Department of Theory and Philosophy of Law of the Law College of the Kozminski University and the student research group of the grant "Private security protection and its standards "Non-state law?".

 

The event was attended by special guest Dr. Wiesław Jan Modrakowski – President of the Polish Association of Licensed Detectives, who during the meeting shared his many years of experience gained in the detective industry. Key points of discussion were, among others, the legislative changes in the legal sphere of the detective profession proposed by the Polish Association of Licensed Detectives, and the challenges that imposed on the polish detectives. In addition, the issues of deregulation of the detective profession, and the consequent opening of the market to a wider number of people who want to practice this profession were discussed in a very substantive way.

The scientific breakfast attracted many students and researchers of ALK. The meeting was accompanied by very interesting discussion, and the special guest provided comprehensive answers to numerous questions from the audience

 

The scientific breakfast was also attended by the Rector of the Kozminski University – DSc. Witold T. Bielecki.
